United Arab Shipping Company

The United Arab Shipping Company selected this competition design to be their prestigious headquarters in the Middle East Region. The 11-storey office tower is a composition of sculptural elements using form and texture to define mass and volume.  The gently profiled silver metal cladding with circular punched windows reflect a ship’s bow. The office blocks of varied heights on the starboard side are developed to reminisce the clustering of harbour terminal buildings.  The steel  canopy in a waved silhouette at the foot of the tower annunciates the entry to the development.
